Project work with Glasgow Museums
As co-curator of this community-led research project, I worked with Glasgow Museums curator Alastair Callaghan to uncover and interpret objects in the museum's collection connected to Chinese migration to Glasgow.
Through conversations and collaboration with local Chinese community groups, we identified historically significant items and captured personal stories, memories, and cultural knowledge. This helped bring deeper context and meaning to the artefacts—ensuring that community voices were at the heart of the museum's understanding.
Selected objects and narratives were featured in the *Glasgow Migration Stories* exhibition at Kelvin Hall following its reopening in 2016. The display highlighted Chinese experiences alongside those of Polish and Scottish Highlander communities, celebrating Glasgow's rich and diverse migration heritage.

2016–2017 – Advisory Support for display at Glasgow Museums Resource Centre, Scotland
Following the donation of a dragon boat head-prow and tail to Glasgow Museums, I provided advice on the conservation stages for these artefacts and supported the development of a dedicated dragon boat display at the Glasgow Museums Resource Centre.
