TRANSCAPE

TRANSCAPE explores notions of loss and preservation. The wooden crate structures are constructed with wood reclaimed from the Mackintosh building and housed within them are donated plants from friends, family and Faslane Peace Camp. The piece emerges from ideas of loss, projecting towards growth. Together with scheduled musical performances played to the plants by Sulaïman Majali I hoped to develop the potential for spaces where humans and nature meet and interact.
